Is Outpatient Counseling Covered By Insurance?
Due to mental health parity, outpatient counseling is covered by insurance. It is recommended that you contact your insurance company to see if you need an authorization for outpatient behavioral health counseling. At most, you may have a co-pay or a deductible which is due at the time of service.
